Gian Marco Javier Zignago Alcóver was born in Lima (Peru) on August 17, 1970 and is one of the most important, recognized and prestigious Peruvian singer-songwriters. Winner of the Grammy Latino 2005 for the best 'álbum Cantautor y nombrado', UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Peru are some of the recognitions he has received in the 15 years of his professional career.

His mother is the well-known Peruvian actress and singer Regina Alcóver Ureta, and his father was the late Peruvian composer and singer Javier Zignago, known in the musical world as "Joe Danova".
